Hello there ! I'm really happy to share with you this project I've started after my school year !
Very inspired by Cyberpunk 2077 game, and the cyberpunk universe as a whole, my goal was to finish this scene before the CP77 DLC come out, so I'm a little bit late.
The idea was to create a game ready environment in a small scale, to focus on details and storytelling, and upgrade my lighting and modeling skills, but also to have more things to show on my portfolio.
The scene was made using few unique meshes, tiling materials, and texture kits that can be used for multiple assets
Everything is made by me except for some meshes and the decals that I directly took from the Megascan library. I used other Megascans materials but tried to modify them with mixer as much as possible.
I knew what I wanted to do from the beginning so my process was very straight forward until I asked for reviews and advices from professionals, and I was helped from bits and pieces of many tutorials here and there but mostly the one from Mihai Muscan, that helped me a lot for modelling and lighting, and also for the workflow.
I asked Eve Cabanié if she wanted to make something in the scene as she was offering and also searching for something to do for her portfolio, and she made the destroyed leather couch that you can see in the hallway, and some little props here and there.
It was a very interesting to work with someone outside of school projects and my internship.
I'm quite happy with the result, even though it's far from perfect !
I learned a lot doing this project and I'm planning to do another one before the end of the year! Hope you like it !
